Old Assyrian divorce contract

A hand-written copy of a divorce contract excavated in Kanesh in the 1920's by Prof. Bedřich Hrozný (the original tablet is deposited at Charles University's Faculty of Philosophy and Arts in Prague and dates back to 20th-18th century BC). The text is written on the obverse, lower edge, reverse and left side of the tablet. The layout of the text is kept as on the original tablet. There is a colophon written on the left side of the tablet stating that this tablet is a copy made by me (as was the Mesopotamian custom when copying tablets). The colophon is not present at the original tablet. Written by hand in Old Assyrian, in Old Assyrian cuneiform script, fired in a kiln (with wood). It is basically a note about an execution of a divorce and about it's consequences - if one of the divorced comes back to the other with any claim, he or she will be financially and physically punished.

Size: ca. 4.2 x 3.8 x 1.5 cm (width x height x thickness)

I will enclose a paper with transliteration, transcription, translation to English and with basic information concerning the text, the language, the script etc.
